Military dispatch service was established on a line Vajnory-Spišská Nová Ves-Prešov on September 1st. The first flight was performed by Cpt. Čech on Š 328
Because of the antiaerial defence of the town an air squadron 45 from Sišská Nová Ves and Ražňany with three planes Avia B-534 and with pilots Cpt. Hanovec, Sac. Žiaranec and Sac. Jaloviar was moved to the airport Išľa, Prešov

A spotter flight squadron 3 from Nitra with planes Š 328 was moved to the field airport Nižná Šebastová, Prešov

Mr. Markovič was awarded with a diploma of Paul Tiesandier, the biggest FAI prize

Mr. Tupta was selected to represent Slovakia in powered planes aerobatics, Mr. Platko in skydiving and Mr. Sobek in junior gliding

Triple aerotow group was founded. Using 3xL-13 Blaník, the group functioned until 2010.The towplane for triple aerotow was Z-137 – with pilot Mr. Tarasovič, later it was double tow with L-60 – pilot Mr. Markovič, and solo aerotow with Z-226 – pilot Mr. Szidor. Glider pilots in the group were: Sobek sr., Gaľa, Rohaľ, Beluško, Toman, Rösner

Aeroclub bought glider Cirrus standard OM-1176, which improved competitiveness of our pilots
2006
Aeroklub Prešov organized annual international paragliding competition „Memoriál z.m.š. Ladislava Platka“ for the first time. The competition is still being organized today

Mr. Komanický placed third in the CASSOVIA skydiving contest in Košice

Aeroclub operates from Ražnany since august 2014 till december 2015 due to issues in rental relationship with Slovak Ministry of Defense

Mr. Sobek sr. won third place in Slovak Gliding Chapionship in Partizánske

Operation rules
GAT flights are permitted to enter LZR315 MCTR only with a consent of MILITARY PRESOV TWR station. The consent must be obtained three minutes in advance at least. The military airfield may be used only with the consent issued by an air operator of the military airbase Presov. Arrivals without communication are not possible.
